　　2. Soaking test with hydrochloric acid etc. 　　In order to maximize profits, some manufacturers will dope calcium carbonate in the raw material of quartz countertops. Calcium carbonate is easy to react with acid. If you choose this kind of countertop, the countertop will easily change in later use. Therefore, when purchasing, you can ask for a sample and soak it in dilute hydrochloric acid or other acidic liquids. If the product contains calcium carbonate, it will react with the acid.

Test the permeability 　　The surface and internal structure of high-quality quartz stone slabs are also fine, dense and uniform, so the water absorption rate is low and the anti-permeability is strong; while the imitation quartz stone with backward production equipment and technology is often limited to a similar appearance, but the internal structure is loose and porous, weak penetration resistance, strong water absorption and pollution seepage. When purchasing, you can pour soy sauce on the quartz stone countertop to check whether it will bleed. Inferior quartz stone countertops will bleed in one day, but high-quality quartz stone countertops will not.
